To be a successful programmer you must set aside your beliefs of right and wrong and somehow out of computer space create a reality which in 90% of cases is pure nonsense. The money is good but your soul alas your soul has become corrupt.Selling your life force for money.
The modern company is so corrupt in its management that if you held it to the standards we mortals are judged by they all would be in prison. Lying, cheating, listen to your phone conversation all is ok for a manager in the corporate world. And so begins a dance of doing what you wish until that dreaded phrase " would you come to my office please". Condemned to death on day one lasting as long as possible in incongruousness until the square peg in the round hole is discarded.
